Wool thread sets
Conceived as a way to exhaust the very last bit of colour from large dyebaths and to play with colour, these sets of plant-dyed embroidery wool are full of joy. They are suitable for embroidery and hand stitching, working particularly well on wool (woven and knitted), linen and cotton, and for fine knitting, crochet and weaving (weft only). They were dyed with care, using time-honoured methods and dyes that give long-lasting colour.
Fibre: Appleton’s crewel wool, 2-ply; 100% wool sourced and processed in Britain and dyed in Glasgow. Sets are packed in a recyclable glassine bag with label and care instructions.
Meterage: 10 x 5gm balls (36m per ball)
